We spent an entire month decluttering our homes earlier this year. But I’m pretty sure we might have missed a couple of things…especially in the kitchen! So let’s take a few minutes to look through the kitchen to find something to let go.
Declutter the Kitchen
Here are some things to think about as you look through your cabinets and drawers:
- Do you have more than one of a particular gadget? If so, do you need more than one?
- Do you have cups or plates you never use?
- Do you have unused small appliances that are covered in dust?
- Do you have expired food in the pantry?
- Do you have clutter in your drawers that doesn’t belong in the kitchen?
- Do you have a cabinet or drawer that you never open because you never need the contents?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, consider if it’s time to pass the items on to another home. Your clutter-free kitchen will be exponentially more fun to use!
Your assignment for today:
- Continue working on habit #5.
- Declutter your kitchen.
- Put this task on your cleaning schedule and keep working on it.
